
1) Before you start running with your dog, take him to the veterinarian for a complete checkup just to be on the safe side.
2) Alternate between jogging and walking, especially if your dog isn't used to exercising.
3) Don't be too hard on your dog - keep the distance and speed short.
4) To avoid causing injuries, try to jog on grass or sand.
5) If you notice that your dog is sore or limp you may have pushed him too hard. Give him a massage to ease the tension.
6) Ask your significant other to give you a massage.
